Pondmaster 120-Watt Pond Deicer
The Pondmaster 120 Watt De-icer has 120 watts of heating power, thermostatic control, double watertight seal, and will not harm flexible or preformed pools. It’s red so that you can easily locate the de-icer in your pond.
Where the threat of ice in winter is obvious, a pool heater should be considered. The aquatic life in your pond, especially the fish, cannot survive heavy ice buildup and noxious gases may be trapped.
An automatic thermostat senses the water temperature and turns on when the temperature of the water approaches freezing.

Nox-Ich Classic Ich Remedy
Ich is one of the most prevalent diseases of fish. It is caused by a microscopic single-celled protozoan that causes white spots in the skin and gills of the fish. Alteration of the protective skin of the fish by ICH allows opportunistic bacteria or fungi invasion and the fish can die from secondary causes.
The best control of ich is prevention. New plants or fish can easily introduce ich to your pond. One of the best preventative measure is to treat your pond for ich before adding new plants, fish or in the spring when ich is most prevalent.
Tricker’s recommends this Nox-Ich to prevent or treat ich. Besides the highly effective and proven malachite green for ich, the product also contains sodium chloride. Malachite green is a well known and old remedy that has been used to successfully treat not only ich but ectoparasites (gill flukes) as well as bacteria and fungal infections.
Treatment is recommended for 3 consecutive days.
Aquariums should use 1 drop per gallon for 3 consecutive days.
Ponds or large aquariums, 1 teaspoon per 75 gallons or 1/4 cup treats 900 gallons is recommended.That is, for a single dose treatment: 4 oz treats 2400 gallons, 1 pint treats 7200 gallons, 1 quart treats 14400 gallons and 1 gallon treats 57600 gallons. For ponds 1/4 cup treats 900 gallons.
